28 YEAR OLD FEMALE... IVE BEEN HAVING CHEST FLUTTERS FOR THE PAST TWO DAYS NOW.. IT FEEL LIKE A VIBRATION IN MY CHEST.. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS GAS SO I TOOK A FEW THINGS, Although burbing seems to relieve it, IT still never goes away.. IF I PUT MY HEAD DOWN IT GOES AWAY, BUT WHEN I LIFT MY HEAD UP, IT COMES BACK.. Im scared.. Whats wrong with me?
Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion you are having tachycardia which gives sensations of vibration and fluttering. So better to rule out cardiac cause first. So get done ECG to rule out heart disease like arrhythmia. If ECG is normal than we need to rule out anemia and thyroid diseases, as both of them cause ssimilar symptoms. So get done CBC to rule out anemia and thyroid function test to rule out thyroid diseases. If these are also normal than it must be stress and anxiety related only. So avoid stress and anxiety. Be relax and calm.
