What Could Cause Throat& Chest Pain With Difficulty In Swallowing?

Hi there. I'm a vocalist in a rock band. Friday night i hurt my throat from straining. Now I have real pain swallowing and in my chest. It feels like the top of my lungs. I'm worried I've ripped a hole in my throat or something terrible. Absolute agony non stop. :(

hello,thanks for ur query, voice abuse most common in singers and teachers.in fection may progress to voice box and pharynx causing difficulty in swallowing and speech. u can take.tab.ascert200mg(cefixime) twice daily for 7 days, tab.hicet-d(citrizine+pseudoephidrine) one tab at bed time,tab.pan-d(pantoprazole+demperidone) before break fast,steam inhalaion twice daily,absolute voice rest.all d best.take care.
