What Could Cause Redness And Pain In The Joints Of The Legs In A 58-year-old?

I have mild renal insufficiency. Rt. Nephrectomy 11 yrs ago I am cancer free. I take furosemide 20-40mg daily. Losartan, just started Fosamax weekly 3 weeks ago. I am having joint pain increased LE edems redness on lower legs, lower legs are tender to touch. I am 58 yrs.
