What Could Cause Pressure And Intense Pain During Urination And How To Treat It?

HI I'm 24 years old male and for the last couple of days I was feeling a little pleasure while I finish urinating, but now this pleasure has turned into an intense streak of pain exactly at the time when I an finishing. I don't know what exactly is but whatever, it doesn't tell me to have a urine test just prescribe me a good antibiotic. thanks

Hi, I had gone through your query and understand your concerns.

The pain during urination is a typical sign of Urinary Tract Infection. The other associated symptoms you might be having are slight fever, occasional shivering and pain in your lower abdomen; but it depends on the amount of infection you are having.
If it’s a mild one, you may feel only the pain during urination.
Another disease that can have similar pain is a urinary stone,which usually shed some blood cells in your urine which can be detected in urine test followed by an Ultrasound Scan.So the ideal way to treat you is by doing a urine test and to confirm that it is an infection and not a urinary stone.

If you are not willing for the test, then you can have Norfloxacin 400mg Capsules in the morning and evening for 5 days.
Drink a lot of fluids, atleast 8 glasses a day.
You can also take 1 spoon of Citralka syrup, diluted in 1 glass of water which helps in alkalinizing the urine and helps in reducing the pain and also aids in quicker bacterial clearance.
