My right testical hurts at times, I have been to a urologist twice and he says it has discomfort due to lifting and straining it. I took antibiotics twice it helps a little. But now the vein that attaches to it feel swollen? I am considering going to a different urologist? Is this something I should be worried about?
HI. Do a simple test. Hold at different parts of the scrotum like the testicle , then just above the testicle and then the cord/ vein that supports the testis( cord). Cough violently every-time. Let me know your observations. NOTE ::: Is there is rotation of the testis while pulling up at coughing and pain? =Torsion Is there is a bulge increasing with coughing just above the testis? =Varicocele. Does the cord tightens?= Strong cremaster , which may need surgical release. I hop I have given a simple idea about your diagnosis. Supplement this with MRI, real time ultrasonography and color doppler examination to get more information. Second opinion of another Urologist is always a good idea.
