What Could Cause Air Bubble Like Feel In Wrist?

Hi I am a healthy 28 year old and recently I have noticed what feels like an air bubble on the inside of both wrists (one being bigger than the other) and on the top of my ankle...when I push on it it feels like there is nothing in it and it inflates immediately. Any thoughts

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to a ganglion cyst.
A ganglion cyst is a fluid-filled lump below the surface of the skin.
Ganglion cysts appear most often on the joints and tendons of the wrist.
They usually do not cause any symptoms and often disappear on their own.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
