What Could Cause A Lot Of Drool(light Brown In Saliva) Like Blood?

I got up this morning and noticed a lot of drool on my pillow and 2 tiny specs of blood. I went to bed at 3am and woke up at 730am because of the drool apparently. Then when I go to spit it out, It's a light brown color in my saliva. What could this possibly be? Also non-smoker.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Such condition could be due to dental disease or an oral lesion. In either of this condition clinical examination is a must and without this the exact reason cannot be known, but most of the time it is the dental condition or oral lesions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
