What Could Bulging Veins In Temple Region With Headache Suggest?

I was very curious about a bulging vein in my left temple, running from the temple up to the hear line. Its huge. I never seen such a thing. I do suffer from weird headaches at times where it feels like a massive brain freeze. I literally have to stop what I am doing and lay down. Its just brutal. I mentioned to my doctor and we had some blood work but all came back fine. He advised me to take Advil and thought it might of been in infection in the temple. Then today I awake to a bulging vein. Is it serious should I be concerned. I currently feel great with no headaches, but am weird-ed out with this huge vein sticking out the side of my head..

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi, if you have no headaches then I dont think you need to be worried. Veins in that area are normally present and it is called the anterior facial vein. It is known to bulge in a few people specially when they bend down. But we do not usually need to treat them. If it is cosmetically unsightly to you then maybe you could get it removed by a small surgery but I do not feel it would be required.
Take care,
Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
