What Could Be The Tissue Hanging Out Of The Socket After Extracting The Wisdom Teeth?
I have recentley had all four wisdom teeth extracted. On the upper-left side, there is a soft tissue/ string material, what it seems, to be hanging out of the socket? Is this a root left behin unintentionally? Should I pull it out, or call the dentist?
thanks for your query, i have gone through your query. the hanging tissue could be the flap around the tooth or it can be socket granuloma. consult a dentist and get a radiograph done and rule out the left out root piece. nothing to worry if any excess growth is there you can get it surgically removed. if root piece is there you should get it removed because it might cause infection. i hope my answer will help you. take care.
