What Could Be The Reason For Soreness, Swelling, Dry Blood On Toe?
hello, i have a problem where the corner of my big toe on my right foot would be a bit sore and slightly swollen and i would have to use a pin to drain a little fluid. this has happen a few times in the past. not so sure when the first instance was. i am 35 and female. this time around i have not punched it or anything but i see dry blood on the toe, everyday for more than a week. any answer is very much appreciated. thanks.
I would keep a possibility of Ingrown toe nail. It can be greatly relieved by a course of an oral antibiotic (penicillin or cephalosporin group) for a week. I would advice that you visit your local practitioner for a prescription of oral antibiotic.
Attention to footwear particularly using footwear with proper room for the toes is important.
If the condition is recurrent then nail avulsion(removal) with partial matriectomy would be the definitive treatment and in case it recurs you should see a dermatologist or a surgeon for nail avulsion(removal) with partial matriectomy.
take care regards
