Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband has been cosistently coughing for two weeks. As he is coughing he has to bend over and sometimes drops to the floor. As a result he starts to suffer from severe hip pains associated with the cough. What should he do?
Hi Chundria, Welcome to HealtchcareMagic Forum.
How old is he? Is he a smoker? Does he have fever? Is it a Dry or Productive Cough? Since it is from 2 weeks, he has a Respiratory Tract Infection, Either Upper or Lower. Take him to a Chest Physician and get him examined, he will need a chest x ray. Until the cause is found out and treated, he will continue coughing, The Pain in hips is actually due to the stress of coughing.
I Wish him Good Health, Take Care.
