Hello,

I can understand your concern. It seems that you are suffering from either a sinus that is discharging pus while the infection is related to some tooth in the oral cavity or it is a skin disorder that is causing such symptoms.

I recommend that you visit a dentist for clinical examination of the oral cavity. If a focus of infection is present in relation with the tooth, treatment of the tooth with root canal treatment or extraction can cure the problem.

However, if oral cavity has no focus of such infection, you should go for swab culture of the material that is exuding for the lesion and go for analysis of the organism present in the lesion and what medicines can work against them. Based on the test results, diagnosis can be confirmed and treatment can be advised.

For symptomatic relief in the itching, you can take antihistamine such as Levocetrizine 5 mg (Levocet) or Loratidine 10 mg (Lorfast) once a day for 5 days.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
