What Could Be The Cause For The Internal Pain In The Rectum?

HI, I Have some pain in my rectal area. It is like an internal lump, about pea-sized right at the end of my tailbone which makes sitting uncomfortable. I have also noticed that my stool is thinner in diameter than it used to be. I read about all sorts of things online, from anal wartz to cancer etc. I am really worried and would greatly appreciate your advice. Kind regards, Andrea

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein, I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.
These are probbaly hemorrhoids or polyps and this may cause symptoms that you describe. You should see proctologist for further steps but inmost cases it should be surgically removed under general anesthesia.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
