What Could Be Done For Insect Bite Associated Swollen Yellow Puss Spot (not Oozing) With Red Ring Around?

I was bitten by something last night on my arm. It itched like a big mosquito bite, but now there is a yellow puss spot (not oozing) and it has a red ring around it. It no longer itches or hurts but is swollen a little. Is there something that I can treat it with? I do not have any other symptoms such as a fever, vomiting, nausea, etc.

Hi,

It seems that you might have insect toxic dermatitis. There may be mild itching, pain, burning sensation, redness, swelling, oozing of liquid..etc. consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis. Antibiotics, steroids in tappering dose, anti inflammatory drugs and anti histaminics may be taken. Apply antibiotic cream. You may be improved. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
