General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The medical explanation can be nerve injury because of blood drowning. It means that the needle hit your nerve during the blood draw. I suggest using anti-inflammatory medication for the pain such as Ibuprofen. The symptoms will pass in further days gradually.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
