I was diagnosed with diverticulitis in december and treated with flagyl and cipro, however I didnt res ond and was put inthe hospital for 5 days and another dosage of those antibiotics the diahrrea continue d at the end of vebruary I had a colonoscopy everything was ok ex ept he fou d some bacteria that turnedout tobe cdifficile so I was put on vancomycin for 10 days difficile for 10 more days the symptoms came back and I was put again on vancomycin tapering it down 1 week of 4 a day one week of 3 one weekof2 one of 1 and2 weeks of one every other day that finished a month ago, however my stools are still loose although most of the time I have one bmsometimes I have 2 or 3 inwhichcase my dr.hasallowed me to take imodium, i. Have loosed stooles no watery diahrrea, but this last month iam experiencing abdominal pain above the navel every 3 days or so and itlasts from4 to 7 hours inotice that acetaminophen helps could it be gull bladder or what do youthink thanks for your help
