What Could Abdominal Cramps And Pain In Uterus Indicate?

So the about 2 days ago I was having period like cramps/air filled feeling in uterus that lasted about 3 days. (My period shouldn t start till a week and a half from now) and now I don t feel them anymore but when I yawn or sneeze I have a pain in my uterus. Could I be pregnant? I m not on birth control (went off them about 3 weeks ago) and we do it about every other day unprotected. But my BF doesn t want to buy a HPT. He thinks I m just imagining that I m pregnant since I want to be and I don t have insurance to get blood work done.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Pregnancy can be confirmed or ruled out by performing an urine pregnancy test (UPT). UPT usually becomes positive 10-14 days after unprotected intercourse.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shailja Puri, Pathologist and Microbiologist
