What Causes Yellow Vaginal Discharge Post A Pap Smear Test?

Four days ago, I had a Pap done. Later that night I noticed a bit clearer discharge with white clumps. There wasn't any odor or burning though. I figured it was the lube or maybe. The next couple days I began to feel sore around the vaginal opening. The discharge subsided. Yesterday, I had protected sex (condoms) and now today I have a slighty yellowish, thicker discharge with an odor and alongside soreness/almost throbbing sensation. I already made an appoitment with my doctor on Monday but I'd like to know what this potentially could be.
