What Causes Yellow Discoloration Of Urine And Burning Sensation During Urination?

Ian a man about 73 years old last 4 months my Uriel is yellow with burning. I see my family doctor he tes my Uriel he don,t find any thing in lab test . Then he refer to me urealoge . Is going to see him with in 7 days. What s your sages ion regarding my case.

Hi,

Yellow discoloration of urine could be due to urine which is in the concentrated form poor due to jaundice. Burning sensation could be as a result of the passage of such concentrated urine or due to the presence of urinary tract infection.

Since urine routine test has not indicated any abnormality, you may require further investigations like urine culture and sensitivity test.

However, further investigations can be decided only after clinical evaluation by consulting Urologist.

Kindly consult Urologist for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
