72 y/o female, obese. Hx of lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, htn. Was in A-fib. on 3/19/15 had cardioversion and is in normal sinus rhythm now. Has been very short of breath for several months, after the cardioversion she became very SOB and on the 3rd day after the cardioversion her SOB beecame extreme. When she would be at total rest her SpO2 would be 95 - 98%, with minimal exertion transfer from bed to chair her SpO2 drops to 81 - 85%. No swelling in lower extremities, WBC s are in normal range, CBC is normal, H&H is normal, chest x-ray normal, MD thought there was a extreme slight chance of pneumonia due to faint place on CT. Has been given large amt of abx and steroids in the last 3 days. Still the severe SOB continues.
