I am hearing an echo in my right ear. It seems as if I am underwater. The echo is most pronounced when I speak. I also experience a whooshing sound in my left ear. It is most noticeable when I am trying to get to sleep. I am aged 68. Are these symptoms simply age related and must be borne or is intervention likely to assist? Eileen Jones
