My daughter has white like splotches on roof of mouth and by her tonsils.. she was taken to the ER this past Sunday and they did a rapid strep test.. came back negative but they put her on meds amoxicillin for ten days.. they treated her for acute tonsillitis all they said about the white stuff was yuck. She has a headcold and pry allergies going on right now has been under the weather for like two weeks now we all have been dealing with some kinda of congestion and sneezing and all that due to now changing of the season and all that.. but I guess I am just wondering if this is normal my kids have had strep before and I don t remember seeing the white and with the test saying negative but then my daughter never lets them get far back there she freaks out so in all reality she could truly have strep. So I guess just want to know if this is common or possible something else and should I worry ??? She s only on start of 5th day of the meds its just 400mg at 5ml 3x a day. So and still now and then complains hurts to swallow but it is looking better or was to me at least.
