What Causes Whip Like Marks Appearing On Body?

I have whip like marks appearing on my body. I may be sitting down and then I feel a burning like sensation. When I reach my hand up to feel the area, I have three whip like marks. They appear to be half healed when I look in a mirror. What are these? I have no idea where they come from. Please help.

Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I would keep a possibility of pressure Urticaria. It is a type of Physical Urticaria induced by Pressure(Prolonged Standing, Sitting etc). The swellings may last 4-6 hours and may be associated with a burning and pain rather than an itching sensation unlike most urticaria

An oral antihistamine like Fexofenadine (Allegra 180 mg tab) OR Loratadine (Alaspan 10mg tablet) once or twice daily, would be suitable. They are non-sedating and wont affect your alertness level. Treatment is long term and chronic

regards
