What Causes Wheezing And Hives On Back And Stomach In An Elderly Person?

My 83 year old mom has had severe wheezing with difficulty catching her breath for about a week. Can t get her to go to doctors. Today she is coughing up mucus which is good, but now has itching and hives on back and belly (not a rash actual hives). Still wheezing. Says she has no fever. What can I do to help her since she won t go to doctor? PS 4 year ovarian cancer survivor, mild heart attack 2 years ago.

I really appreciate your concern, allergic condition could be the likely condition, and it can be well managed with second generation antihistamine else this is nothing to take anything with the other medical conditions, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
