What Causes Weight Loss With Enlarged Lymph Nodes And Hot Body Temperature?
I am 17 years of age, about 140 pounds and 5 feet 7 inches. I have had fatigue and weigh loss gradually over the course of 6 months. I also have a painless enlargement of my lymph nodes. I have a fullness in my throat when I swallow. And I tend to feel hot all the time, even in a cold room. What could it be? I had an ultrasound about 2 months ago and it was clear but the enlargement hasn't gone away and it's only gotten slightly worse.
I suppose that the painless enlargement of the lymph nodes is located in your neck. The symptoms that you have(gradual weight loss, hot body temperature) are signs of hipertyroidism.I think that probably you have an situation called subacute Thyroiditis. The most obvious symptom of subacute thyroiditis is pain in the neck caused by a swollen and inflamed thyroid gland. Common symptoms of subacute thyroiditis include fatigue, weakness, and fever. In the acute phase that Lasts 3-6 weeks the symptoms of hyperthyroidism also may be present. My advice is to check up :TSH,T3,T4,TG,ESR,Radioiodine uptake and the results will indicate the diagnose.
