I am 26 years old. I ve been on Vyvanse for the past 4 years. I started off taking 30 mg once a day, my dose then increased to 40 mg and then 50mg per day. I had uncomfortable anxiety (highs and lows) while on 50 mg and was then prescribed 2 (30mg) capsules twice a day over the past year. I ve wanted to get off of this medication for a while and have successfully weaned myself off of the medication and have not taken any for the past 8 days. The first two days were the worst, but I am terrified about the potential weight gain. I am 5 7 and weigh 158 lbs. I weighed 185 when I first started taking Vyvanse, but have always been active or in the gym most of the time. Is there any way I can stop any weight gain besides eating healthy and being active. By that, I mean is there a certain caloric intake I should keep up with daily to ensure I don t gain weight?
