What Causes Weakness,lightheadedness And Trembling?

I recently got out of the hospital for abdominal pain. My body was weak and feeling faint. I was admitted and pumped with fluids and antibiotics. They said my white blood cell count was very high. But they could not pinpoint the problem. I now sit at home taking antibiotics. is it normal too feel weak,lightheaded and trembling? how long should I epect to feel this way?

Dear thanks for the question.

It seems that you had infection in intestine and severe dehydration. Raised wbc count also indicates infections. . Both these conditions are interrelated and one can lead to other. Dehydration leads to weakness, which is reason for your symptoms. It is always not possible to locate as it may involve whole intestine.

However you keep hydrating your self with plenty of water and oral rehydration solutions. And complete the course of antibiotics. It will take a week for full recovery. Take good nutrition, your recovery will be faster.
