What Causes Weakness In The Muscles After Withdrawing From Soma And Xanax?

I was on xanax 50 msg 4 times a. Day and soma 3 times a day no taking 1 clozipanat nite to help me sleep. I have cervical dystopia, lower lumber disc degeneration. I also suffer with fibromyalgia, anxiety, depression & migraine headaches .i also take up to 5 norco day&hydromorphone t night. Now I m off the xanax & soma ,but take 3 clonizapan a day,and have been doing that for 2 months now. I m feeling muscle weakness, and am very sore all the time. Is this do to the change of being off the soma?

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Fibromyalgia itself causes muscle pain and muscle weakness.

It may not due to Alprazolam. Usage of Carisoprodol may cause muscle pain and cramps.

Also, check for electrolyte imbalance or CPK MB.

Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
