What Causes Weakness Feeling In The Hands While On NyQuil Cough Syrup And Amoxicillin?
My 30 year old son is experiencing weakness in his hands (especially the pinky finger) after taking a whole bottle of NyQuil cough within 24 hours. He is taking amoxicillin, methylprednisone, and the inhaler ventilin prescribed yesterday for bronchitis. Could this be the reason for his discomfort? Should he go to the hospital?

What Causes Weakness Feeling In The Hands While On NyQuil Cough Syrup And Amoxicillin?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. The weakness may be due to a combination of factors such as his infection and the different medication that he is currently using to treat it. NyQuil cough contains an antihistamine and a cough suppressant, both of these would cause drowsiness to occur. If the weakness is severe then he should be seen. I hope this helps.
