What Causes Weakness And Shaking In Legs Of An Elderly Person?

my 72 year old husband got up to use the bathroom a short time ago. when he tried to get up, he couldn t stand. his legs were weak and shaking and he couldn t support himself. I had to assist him back to bed. I checked him 15 minutes later and had him walk to the bathroom with the same result.

I really appreciate your concern, it could be lower limb weakness and underlying cause of this is matter of concern and better to get done the CT of brain, if he is hypertensive then it could be some Transient ischemic attack hope this information helps.
