What Causes Wax In Ears During A Viral Infection?

my daughter had tubes put in her ears at the beginning of the ear. She recently got a cold and so I took her to the doctor, he told me she has a viral infection. Yesterday I noticed that she had wax coming from only one of her ears. Is this something I should worry about?

Hello. If it's truly wax--a yellow/orange fluid--then nothing to worry about. But it might not be wax and that would indicate an external ear infection. So the best thing to do is have the doctor look at her ear.
