What Causes Watery Discharge During Pregnancy After Inserting Cansoft For Infection?
I am in my 26th week of pregnancy.I inserted cansoft for a slight infection last night and my panties were wet with discharge/urine (could not figure which) this morning. Is this normal? I have not had any discharge prior to this. Have also had a wee bit of discharge in the day today. Please advise.
Watery discharge is unusual after cansoft. It is more likely to be thick and milky from the remains of the tablet that may come out. This also stains the undergarments and is usual.
But passage of water like thin copious discharge like urine may come from premature rupture of membranes and this needs to be ruled out. So I suggest that if you have thin water like discharge, you go to the ER or your doctor as soon as possible and get yourself examined and tested for integrity of membranes. Hope this satisfies your query. Thanks for using HCM. Feel free to ask any more questions that you may have. Dr Madhuri Bagde Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist
