What Causes Watery And Foamy Stools?

I have a storm raging in my stomach. My stool is watery and foamy. It doesn t have a odor at all. My stomach problem started a week ago after eating steak. Steak or beef is not a regular part of my diet. My stomach has been angry since I ate that steak. How can I get relief?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you might experienced food poisoning. To me, should:

- follow BRAT diet (banana, rice, apple sauce, toast)
- consume Greek yogurt
- take probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora
- take tasectan or Pepto Bismol for the watery stool

If still no improvement within a couple of days, should consult with your caring doctor in order to run further diagnostic tests and start prescription meds.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
