What Causes Warm Fluid Sensation In The Skull Radiating To The Neck?

Hi, this may seem like a left-field question but I figure it s worth asking. I am experiencing what feels like a fluid sensation (warm fluid) on the inside of the rear of my skull which is radiating/flowing down the back of my neck/ spine too. There s no associated pain; just a warm feeling..... Is this something worth a visit to an emergency department or am I just experiencing a false alarm?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The feeling can be psychological stress leading anxiety & fear OR it can be nerve disorder at the cerebrospinal junction. It is safe to consult a neuro-physician with needful MTI to find / exclude the pathological cause followed by specific management.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
