What Causes Vomiting With Blotchy Face And High Temperature?

Hello, My 5 year old just woke up & vomited. Her eyes appear to be red and her skin looks slightly blotchy on her face and chest. I noticed that her face looked blotchy before bed, but I didn t think much of it. She was also shaking and cold, but her temperature came up low not high. Should I be worried?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

If no other symptoms, this is probably a viral fever. Give Acetaminophen 3-4 times daily for 3 days. Let him take rest, drink enough fluids and have a soft diet. If it is not getting better in 3 days, additional symptoms appear or if he becomes lethargic, kindly take him to pediatrician for further evaluation

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
