What Causes Vomiting While On Ortho Tri-Cyclen?

Hi, I am on ortho tri cyclen and have been taking it perfectly for almost 2 years. Last week on my second week of the pack, I took Thursdays perfectly, Fridays late (on Saturday morning) and ended up vomiting about an hour later but never noticed a pill in the throw up. That evening I took my next Saturday active pill correctly. I had sex on Thursday and Saturday night but on Saturday night the pull out method was used. I am still protected against pregnancy even if the Friday pill did not completely absorb correct?

Hello,

Since you vomited & did not take the pills after vomiting, you depended upon the pull out method (no condom was used) then you should have taken Emergency contraceptive pills within 72 hours to stay safe.

Pre-ejaculation fluid contains sperms that can make you pregnant. Presently, you should continue to take the regular contraceptive pills. Get examined by a gynae at the earliest.
