What Causes Vomiting, Nausea And Confusion?

Vomiting, nausea and confusion for an entire 24 hours, then okay for 16 hours, woke up next day and those same symptoms, today again, although the past two days the symptoms only when I first awake and lasting until about 3:30pm, but extremely intense, like I might not make it. Haven t been able to hold down food for 4 days, very minimal liquids in afternoon and evening. ER visit yesterday, no answers. Never had anything like this. What could it be? I had water in my ear for a couple weeks and major ear drum issues since a child? I live near highway, carbon monoxide? I don t think this is at all a flu or food poisoning due to past experiences with those. Thank you!
