What Causes Vomiting In A Child After Taking Dexolac?

Hi Doctor, My son is 2 months old. I feed him with dexolac special care. His birth weight :3.3 Current weight:4 Now he vomits immediately after feed also during burbs.. Is this bcoz we have increased the frequency of formula feed or is dexolac does not suit him? Should I change to some other brand?

Hello,

Dexolac is powdered milk.As your baby is 3 month old ,so the recommendation is only breast milk upto the age of 6 months.

You baby has normal body weight according to age.So there is no need to give him powdered milk. Babies do not have such strong digestion for such artificial milk thats why this milk can cause indigestion , bloating in abdomen.

So first avoid this milk,if can not do this then give this milk in lesser quantity and in lesser frequency.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
