I drank thera flu and it relieved my sore throat but the roof of my mouth on the left side is still hurting. At first i could not eat at all, now i can eat if i eat it fast but it still causes a lot of pain to the roof of my mouth.
Hello I really appreciate your concern Alcohol produces dehydration leading to drying of throat and roof of mouth In addition to that vomiting may cause inflammation of the throat that may lead to pain and soreness in the throat and mouth.
In my opinion you should do gargling with antiseptic mouth wash or warm saline water You should take multivitamin supplements containing thiamine, biotin, riboflavin, folic acid and pyridoxine for speedy recovery of the throat and palate.
Hope this answers your question Best wishes
