What Causes Vomiting Along With Pain In The Lower Back And Stomach?
Since last Sunday morning, 9-4, about 2am I woke up puking and going to the toilet. As morning turned into the day it continued and I could not stay upright, the only comfort I found was laying down and or sleeping. I had terrible pains in my lower back and stabbing through my stomach. Now here it is Thursday and I m not puking and I feel much better, but everytime I try to eat I get stabbing pains in my stomach and have to go to the toilet. I did not eat anything for 3 days so I realize it may take a few to get my systom back to normal. I thought maybe flu but do you have any ideas? YYYY@YYYY

Hi,
It seems that you have an abdominal infection.
You can take a combination of PPI and domperidone for vomiting. Take a soft and bland diet which will be easy to digest.
I take my patients on a short course antibiotic specific for the abdomen.
