My grandmother aged 71 years, presents frequent vomiting and diarrhea for two months. Do not have these symptoms every day, but no week without fail to be felt.
Grandma also has type 2 diabetes and current treatment she keeps blood sugar around 200. She went to neurology, and the results came out fine. She also suffers from other problems, cardiac, which also treats. Her kidneys often causes pain. there is any diagnostic states of weakness and degradation lately? I'm from Romania, but most here are superficially treated by doctors and honest advice would help me from you.
Thank you in advance!

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Vomiting and diarrhea suggests gastrointestinal (GIT) infection.
Thus, you need to consult your primary health care provider for clinical assessment and prescription of antibiotics.
A blood sugar level of 200 mg/dl is high.
Diabetes mellitus is known to have side effects on kidney and nerves.
Thus, clinical assessment and clinical examination of nervous system is required.
Renal function tests have to be done to assess the renal functions.
Ideally, you should be consulting a diabetes specialist, however, if you do not have an assess to diabetes specialist, you can consult a physician also.

Thanks and take care
