What Causes Vomiting After Taking Alcohol Or Eating Meat?
Hi, my Dad who is 80, has been having trouble when he drinks or eats meat, he throws up. He won t go to a doctor. He has been a heavy drinker all his life. He also is having to spit all the time. He is very active and plays tennis 3 times a week. These symptoms have been happening for about 3 months now. He used to drink vodka and grapefruit and has now quit that saying it s making him throw up. Any ideas on what it could be?Concerned, daughter of a Dad that won t go to a doctor.

He is suffering from severe alcoholic gastritis ,the home remedy remains very simple a lemon juice would reduce the symptoms ,but even though he can take some antacids which is combined with antiemetic for a week period would help in decreasing the symptom faster
