Since there is a history of abdominal surgery for intestinal obstruction and myometctomy the possible cause of vomiting can be related to the intestinal obstruction due to adhesion or so. This can be diagnosed by the following: X-ray of the abdomen in standing position. CT scan of the abdomen if needed. Clinical evaluation by a General Surgeon. All these will lead to a proper diagnosis. Three days of conservative management with nil orally, iv fluids may helps to resolve the issue and if the problem still persist you may need an exploratory abdominal surgery to find the cause and get the problem surgically corrected. Rush to ER if the problem is severe as vomiting can cause dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.
