Hi, my mom is 66 yrs old. She is having fever upto 104 , then lowers down and whatever she eats coming down in vomiting. She is diabetic and been treated with insulin. She also had urine infection which got treated by intervenor injections. She is not eating anything and feeling abdominal pain.
Understanding your concern. As per your query your mom have symptoms of vomiting, abdominal pain and fever. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like viral gastroenteritis, lactose intolerance, food allergies, giardiasis or irritable bowel syndrome. Need not to worry. You should avoid intake of large and spicy meals and take small and frequent meals. I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor my order test like stool test , endoscopy , ultrasound and take history. Doctor may prescribe omeprazole , ornidazole , albendazole , laxative along with antiemetic drug. You should take antacid after every meal and take light walk after every meal .
