Hello. I just read through your question.
Chlorine contained in pools can often cause visual disturbances when it comes in contact with the surface of the eyes. this effect resolves on it's own after a few hours and is nothing to be concerned about. It can be prevented by either wearing goggles or not opening the eyes while under water.
