What Causes Vibration Deep Inside The Ear?

I have a constant droning in my right ear which disturbs my sleep. If I place my hand anywhere near my ear/on face near ear, the sound gets really loud and I feel a vibration deep inside my ear. My doctor looked with a light in my ear and said it looked okay and sent me away. The feeling and sounds are intense. Surely there must be a reason?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the vibration sensation deep inside the ear may be part of conduction disorder or altered sensorineural pathway of hearing. In my clinic, I do test hearing thoroughly with
Weber test
Rinne's test
Audiometry
That will reveal all the details of possible cause and probable management options.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
