What Causes Vibrating Sensation In The Lower Abdomen?
Hello, I am experiencing a strange vibration like that feels like fetal movement right on my lower abdominal fat. Rarely during stretching my body on the tummy as am trying to get rid of my belly fat I get a sharp pain that feels like my muscle is being pulled or twisted. Right in my tummy, sometimes I get the same feeling during sex when I stretch or work to achieve an orgasm. What could be the cause?
The vibrating sensations in the abdominal muscles can be due to a condition called muscular ticks or so. There is the release of nerve impulse on its own causing the muscles to flatter or so. Another reason can be muscular inflammation. Stress and anxiety can cause similar problems. This can be diagnosed by the following:
- Clinical examination by your doctor can help to have clinical cause and get relevant investigations done as needed.
- Once the cause is found the specific treatment can help you recover well.
- Till then do not do any activity that can instigate or enhance the symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T Chandrakant,
General Surgeon
