Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Vibrating Sensation In Left Side Of Chest?
For about three weeks I have had small vibration ins my left chest area....like a vibrating cell phone. I take heart meds related to a MI and stent placement in the LAD. No difficulty breathing or dizziness. I see my Cardiologist next week for my annual.
Small vibration in your left chest area like vibrating a cell phone could be a sign of heart problems. However, other pathologies especially those related to muscular-skeletal or electrolyte imbalance should consider too. I understand you'll see your cardiologist next week for your annual, however, I think you should see your primary doctor for the moment, in order to run an EKG now and a few blood tests (blood electrolytes, liver/kidney function test, etc). Meanwhile, keep monitoring your blood pressure, record the results for reference.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
