What Causes Vertigo When Diagnosed With BPPV?

I went to an ENT doctor and was diagnosed with BPPV. The audiologist preformed a manuver that made me very sick when she did it at the time. It helped some, a lot of the vertigo and spinning has subsided, but I still have the ringing in my ears really bad. Is there anything else I can do, to get this ringing to subside?
