Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello,

Central retinal vein occlusion ( CRVO) can occur in those with hypertension. One of its complications is macular edema which is treated by giving intravitreal depot injections of Ozurdex. You have received the correct treatment so far. The cause of CRVO is hypertension in your case. Kindly follow the advice of your ophthalmologist for the cataract surgery. Best wishes for the same.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are diagnosed with retinal vein occlusion.
Hypertension is one of the known cause for vein occlusion.
The treatment you are on in the form of ozurdex injection is in right direction and do continue the treatment as advised by your doctor.

Thank you
